Cape York Wild Adventures offers a full 6-day fully guided safari with 3 meals a day and 3 ½ star accommodation with bedding included, at the beautiful Blue Lagoon Lodge.
- There will be loads of opportunity to hunt the wild boars and scrub bulls of Cape York. Some of the biggest bulls in the Cape are found at Aurukun.
- Hunting and fishing combo packages are also available
- There will be some instances where we could be based at another outstation, should this occur bedding will be provided
- Cape York Wild Adventures can cater for up to 8 hunters at any one time
- Vehicle transportation around the property is by reliable four wheel drives. And in the flood plains and swampy areas, transport will be by Polaris Rangers

Flying to Blue Lagoon...
- Fly to Cairns
- Fly Qantas link Cairns to Weipa. Chartered flight from Weipa to Blue Lagoon with Weipa Air. (we arrange your chartered flight for you, and a transfer fee of $250 per person is charged to cover your flight to and from Blue Lagoon).
Driving To Blue Lagoon...
- If you choose to drive you will need a reliable four wheel drive vehicle
- Take the Yarraden turn off about 60km north of Musgrave Roadhouse (please note this is your last fuel stop)
- Take the left and follow the signs to Cape York Wild Adventures or Blue Lagoon
- It's a 200km drive from the Peninsula Development Road to Blue Lagoon Outstation. Roads can be a bit demanding, so please take care
- It will take you at least 4 hours to get to Blue Lagoon
- You are travelling through cattle properties so if the gate has a "keep closed" sign, please close the gate
- Cattle and horses have right of way at all times

- A deposit is required when booking your hunt

- A trophy fee of $300 applies for each scrub bull
- A fee of $300 for caping and trophy preparations for each scrub bull
- A fee of $200 for caping and trophy preparations for each wild boar
- Packaging of trophies and capes will be posted by Cash on Delivery
- Strictly no refunds - hunt can be postponed to the following year

Important Info...
- As we are travelling on Aboriginal lands there is no alcohol allowed
- Anyone who brings alcohol could face a $75,000 fine (this law has been enforced)
- All rivers, waterways, billabongs and fresh or salt waters could contain salt water crocodiles. Extreme care must be taken at all times, as some of the crocodiles that inhabit these areas are quite large
- Blue bottles and Irukandji jellyfish also inhabit some salt water streams. Another deterrent from wading into the water
- Listing to your guide at all times, as he is the experienced one who knows the local area
